Two years ago I was given the gift of THE FOUR AGREEMENTS , a book that forever changed my perception of who I am.  Through the agreements, I finally became aware of the Great Sacred Mystery's presence in my life.  This revelation has given birth to a bounty of rewards in my daily life.  I now know true happiness daily, I know peace, I know love, I know joy, I know that life is a wonderful adventure, I know about the value of friends and family. 
I just want to wake up everyday and burst with the joy and happiness that God has given me for the day!  No worries…no stress….no issues!  Only joy….only peace…only happiness.  All else means nothing!

My parents divorced when I was 3 years old.  I don't remember their relationship or marriage of 8 years at all.  I lived with my father (Maryland and Connecticut) for 1/2 my childhood and mom (The ATL) for 1/2 my childhood.  My gift of having them both in my life has given me a well-balanced foundation to base my adulthood.  I love both of my parents for the love, wisdom, courage, and beauty they both gave me from conception.
I have 2 older brothers and a younger sister.  Between my siblings I have 6 nieces and 2 nephews.  I myself have chosen not to opt for children at the moment.  I seriously think of adoption as a choice later….however I would like to adopt a child between the ages of 7-13.   Most people frown when I mention the age group.  But since I won't do the whole diaper-formula-crawling-pottytraining thing, then adopting an older child is the best option for me.  Plus, those kids need love and attention too.  These forgotten children deserve a chance. Even though they are far beyond the cute and cuddlely stage, they deserve a chance to have a loving family.

 I am not married; but I am in love with a beautiful spirit,   Rashad C.  We have been friends, lovers, and family for the last 5 years.  Through our relationship I have learned the skill of being patient, I have learned the art of communication, I have learned how to let go, and I am daily learning how to love unconditionally.  Although we are total opposites, our spirits connect the same.
